Good Day Radio
Good Day Radio is made using ceramic slip-casting and hand-building techniques, then aged to give a distressed feel. This sculptural piece transforms the familiar form of a vintage radio into a contemporary art object that speaks to both personal memory and collective cultural experience.
The work investigates how objects from our past continue to resonate in the present, serving as vessels for stories and memories. The radio becomes a metaphor for transmission and reception - not just of radio waves, but of emotions, memories, and the daily rhythms that define our experience of time and place.
